Shoot The Moose

I would LIVE at WDW if I could.

The squirrels are pretty tame, and used to being fed by us crazy people who love Disney but are just glad to see an animal that isn't a robot.
 

Lintilla cut me off after two years at WDW in a row. BUT, she promised me we could go back in 2009 to get the whole "early teen kids WDW experience". (You can't exactly do Tower of Terror with skittish 6 and 7 year olds). I would love to go just by ourselves to the Epcot Food & Wine festival, maybe I can talk her into that next fall.

I got the Disney Rewards card, and by the time 2009 gets here, I might have enough points to stay at the Polynesian (my lifelong dream). Or at least the Contemporary Resort.
 

Have you ever stayed at the Wilderness Lodge? That is by far the best place to stay in my opinion. It's got that "luxury"feel, but since it's off the monorail line it's quieter and more laid back. I could go on and on about how much we love the Lodge.

As far as the Food & Wine fest goes, I can't think of a more romantic thing for spouses to do. We did that last October and have vowed to make all future trips in October to take advantage of it.

I will say, though, that we enjoyed it just fine without the $250 per person wine tasting gala thing.
 

Haven't stayed at WL before, although we did eat at the restaurant so the kids could do the stick pony races. It was gorgeous, though.

I learned SOOO much there (and at another site called TourGuide Mike) - it saved us so much time and frustration. (For instance, Do NOT go to MK on Saturday! Wednesday is much better.)

That's where I discovered that I HAD to spend my 40th birthday at Biergarten - and I'm glad I did! Great food, great beer, they let me & the kids BUILD my birthday cake in front of all the other guests.

Oh, and did you know the only place in the entire Disney property you can get authentic southern sweet tea is at the Trail's End Restaurant in Fort Wilderness campground? Good food, too.

Now, you've got me started...

I'm normally not a type 'A' person, but there's something about a Disney vacation that brings that out in me. I'll probably start hanging out at DISBoards next year again in anticipation. I'm not a commando or anything, but planning is 90% of the fun!
 

If by the DISBoards you mean the BBS at wdwinfo.com, that would be my second home.

Planning is so much a part of the fun that I became a travel agent years ago to plan other people's Disney trips for them.

Now I plan trips for me even when I'm not going. ;-p
